One thing we in Canada love the most is peace. After all, it’s hard to play hockey or drink a cold, refreshing can of maple syrup when people are fighting war! Everybody in Canada hates it when people fight war, so we send our best warriors to other countries, where they use their calm voices and strategic air strikes to stop war and fighting.
In the Balkans, people were fighting war. In Afghanistan, people were fighting war.
Now, we could have just sat there and said: “Not my problem.” We could have drank some poutine and smoked a big cigarette in peace!
But we want everyone to have what we have. In Canada, we call this “Sharing the Ice.” We also call it: Peacekeeping.
So we sent our best warriors, and they helped to destroy everyone who was fighting war. That’s what Canada is known for: Making war stop. Making fighting go away.
That’s why, every year, Canada wins the Nobel Peace Prize.
So, if you for example live in Yemen, don’t get mad! Get peaceful :)
All you have to do is phone the Canadian government, and let them know there are people fighting war. And right away we will be in your neighbourhood, with our most dangerous planes.
Or maybe we’ll just give money to some other people with dangerous planes! And before you know it, KABOOM!!! Your life will be amazing.
